In this paragraph you can read more about easily creating, editing and reading news items.
1. Chose the path Intranet / My intranet / News overview. The following screen appears:

5. As you see, there are much textfields in this screen. Below they will be explained.
In this textfield you write down the title of your item.
In this textfield you choose the categorie you want to publish your news items. Read more about creating categories here.
In this textfield you see the day of publishing. Automaticly here will come today's date, but it's also possible to publish a newsitem a couple of days before of after it should be visible for readers.
In this textfield you see which user published this newsitem. This is name is linked on the profile in i-Engine.
In this textfield you can choose to publish directly on the web using RSS.
Using this option you can add a small picture which is visible on the index-page after publishing.
In this textfield you can write a short summary, which will also be visible on the index-page after publishing.
In this screen you can write your news-item using a Office-like area, with the well-known Office features.
After finishing your news item, click
