Introduction to CMS

Managing  your website can be done easily with the Content Management System (CMS) in i-Engine. Every specification will be explained below. You only have to click for the operation you want to read about.

When clicking on CMS, you see, dependent on your role, workflow and rights, this menu appears:

Content
The module Content is dependent on your role, workflow and rights as follows:

  • Webcontent
    Using this feature you can edit content in your webpages, such as adding an illustration or removing text.
  • Menu
    Using this feature you can add and edit menu's and submenu's.

Publishing
The module Publishing is dependent on your role, workflow and rights as follows:

  • Entire site
    Using this feature you can publish the entire site.
  • Webpages
    Using this feature you can publish your webpages.
  • Menu
    Using this feature  you can publish your menu.
  • Reindex pages
    ...
  • Mailinglist
    ...

 

Configuration
The module Configuration is dependent on your role, workflow and rights as follows:  

  • Template
    Using this feature you can add designtemplates to the website. This task is done by your site-admin.
  • Website
    Using this feature you can configure your website. Settings as FTP-server are defined here. Either this is a task of your site-admin.

Webshop
The module Webshop is dependent on your role, workflow and rights as follows:

  • Order overview
    Using this feature you can have an overview of all orders in your webshop.


RSS

THe module RSS is dependent on your role, workflow and rigths as follows:

  • RSS management
    Using this feature you can manage RSS feeds and settings.
  • Publiceer nieuws
    Using this feature you can publish imported and written RSS-news.
