Configure a webpage

After adding a new webpage a screen appears called 'Webpage configuration'. Click eventually on  to get there.

The screen which appears looks like this:

2. As you see, this window has got different parts, which are explained below.

 

In this textfield you give the webpage a name for yourself in the CMS. It is advisable to give an easy and functional name which you an your collegues can easy understand. For example, choose 'contact' of 'homepage'.
This name is only visible in the CMS and had no further influence on the filename. (The filnename is the name with the .htm extension)

In this textfield you can edit the directory in which your webpage is saved.

In this texfield you have to fill in the filename. Be sure this name only exists of normal characters. Do not use special characters like question marks or apostrophes in the name. The only other special character which is allowed is the underscore  ( _ ). That's because otherwise your webpage can not be found in your browser, and an error will appear.

In this field you can choose the template which is used for your webpage. Usually you can not edit this field. Contact i-Concept if you want to edit your template.

 
In this field y ou can upload an image, which will be visible on a standard place in the website. To explain, watch the screenshot below.



In this textfield you can fill in the emailadres to contact the person with the responsibility of this webpage.

 
In this field you can read which user the administrator of the page is. You can not edit this field.


In this textfield you can fill in the so-called metatags. This will affort you will be better visible for searchengines. Fill in the wordt which are samiliar to the content of the webpage.

After finishing all operations, click 'save'.
