Send newsletter to users

In this paragraph you can read more about sending an e-mail to other users in i-Engine.

1. Choose the path Intranet / My intranet / E-mailing. The following screen appears:

2. Click on the usergroup you want to e-mail. When clicking on a usergroup, the following screen appears:

3. In this screen you can select the users which will receive your e-mail. After that, click

4. A screen appears in which you have to enter different data. Every textfield will be explained shortly. toegelicht:

In this textfield you can fill in an subject.


In this textfield you can add a attachement by choosing a file from your computer. To add, click 'Browse' and you'll be able to select a file.


In this field you can see on which way you are shown as sender. Take care: you're emailadres can be changed in 'My profile'.



This is the HTML-version which can be used for sending emails. Usion this version text will be better layed-out and also adding pictures to the message.


This is the version without lay-out. Pay attetion to the fact some email-programs don't show HTML-mails. That's why we advise you should allways write a mail without lay-out.
The best way to do this, is writing your email in HTML, and after finishing you should copy and paste the plain text.

In that case your addressees will always a visible mail.

5. When finishing your message, click . Your email is sent. A screen appears with the results of your emailing.
